skeletal muscle cell growth and differentiation media

Provitro’s skeletal muscle cell growth media were developed to provide skeletal muscle cells with optimal growth conditions in a low serum environment. After confluence, following addition of differentiation medium, the proliferating satellite cells start to form syncytia. Provitro’s skeletal muscle cell basal media are supplemented with 5% FCS, recombinant human EGF and bFGF, fetuin, dexamethasone and insulin for the growth medium and with insulin for the differentiation medium, respectively.
